Currently, I have 4 forums. My 3 forums are complete and running successfully, however, my fourth forum is work in progress and it is not yet available for publicly posting. I created my first forum in 2017, it was on a subdomain of a blogging site. I later sold the blog and forum. I earn revenue from 2 forums.

I currently own two forums at the moment. One is a gaming forum dedicated to completing video game challenges, while the other one is based around Battlebots and Robot Wars, two popular robot fighting competition series based in the US and UK.

I just own this one forum.

I owned one back in 2014 before discontinuing it. It was an anime forum. I shut it down because it was like pulling teeth promoting it on FP and getting people to post on the site. It just didn't work for me. There's been several people telling and asking me "you should start up another forum" or "why won't you make one?" and I'm like "no" because I know I'll just get the same result I got the first few attempts. No, I don't need to be "King Shit of Fuck Mountain" to feel important.

Especially nowadays, its super hard to promote and get members. Back in 2014 forums were poppin' ....well some of them.

Only one. With my anxiety, I don't think I could handle anymore.

One is all you need :highfive:

Now adays if you're wanting a forum. It's better to buy an active one. Might be expensive to do that. But you'll have it for as long you can afford the Hosting.

Even that can be iffy, sometimes the members leave if new owners take over. I can think of one that seems dead'er and dead'er every time I look at it, its changed hands a couple times recently.

Pretty much how any gaming or anime forum is anymore. I just got back into anime doing a Discord watch in a vtubers channel watching Kaiji season 1 and then we started season 2. She streams anime every weekend or so iirc. I have been a mod and even admin of an anime forum and gaming forum, though. Those two genres are just not the same when it comes to owning a forum about it.

I can relate. I left one forum I had been modding on since 2020 until it was sold this year. It just wasn't the same without my fellow staff and friends.

I have 3 forums on the Jcink platform, but only one is still online. I tried to divide my forum services board up so there are only services and resources on one board and all of the general discussions on the other board, but in the end, I moved all the discussions back to the primary board. I have a Yu-Gi-Oh forum that is offline too, it never gained a single member. Granted, I barely promoted it, but I felt it was kind of pointless considering there are many other Yu-Gi-Oh forums online.

Wow, you're great, I never own a forum. I just join a forum to enjoy, explore and experience with different nationalities.

They sold the forum, not you! Spread your wings and fly! :D :P

Zero. I feel like I might create one if they're "revived" again.

P.S. Regional forums are very much active still. I saw this Swedish forum and it currently has more activity than the first ever forum I joined.

I own only one and my rebooted forum just took off like a rocket.

Because I want to provide a wide range of topics that keeps the members talking and not just the forum posting games alone.
