I always try to carry some form on ID on me. Sometimes I forget, or it's impractical to do so but I do my best.

Yeah like if you were in an accident, knocked unconscious or into a coma, the hospital would easily be able to contact the family.

That's a good point and something I have thought about in the past when I've nearly got run over by some idiot in a car, and I realise that I have nothing on me that would really identify me.

And it's especially needed for the elderly with Alzheimer.



I'm sure you all heard the story about the old man who wandered off; and the only way they were able to identify him and return him to his respective place was through his ID (or dog tags, I don't remember.).

I should carry around some ID more often. I usually don't.

It really isn't that much of a hassle to carry identification with you, and it make things a lot easier when certain situations arise.
