If someone offered to give you a brand new $200,000 dollar car as a gift, would you take it? Why or why not?

I wouldn't accept the car because the property tax & insurance would be way too high. I couldn't afford to keep it.

Sure, I'd take it and resell it instantly. Even if I got half what its worth that is still a hell of a lot of money. :P

That is way too pricey!

no.

if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. I have one and it works, so..

Make sure it isn't involved in some sort of gang or illegal thing first.

To be very honest with you, I'm going take the car with all pleasure. But what I'm going to do is sell it afterwards because the money is going to be very useful to me more than the car.

I am not accepting a car from a stranger and anyone I actually know, wouldn't.

No, simply because I can't drive.

Yeah, sure, I'd take it....and then I'd sell the $200k car, buy a less expensive one and pocket the rest in savings.

Even if though it depreciates off the lot, you're still making money!
Yes, even if it goes down in value by half thats still a lot of money!

Same here I wouldn't feel comfortable having such a fancy car. I'd always worried about it getting scratched, dented or (worst of all) stolen.
