Looks like IPBfree has vanished for good. I'm guessing they the ran out due to their new software that was suppose to come, i thinks they annouced it way to early an got over whelm with all the rushing members & hard work.

Although its unfortunate, this can happen to anyone on any free host at any time. You take that risk when you cannot backup your forum.

Wow. Glad I wasn't on IPBFree. I'm glad I use a paid host and used Fantastico to install Wordpress and then did the maintenance myself (from there).

Good for other forums though. A lot of those lost forum owners won't bother to start a new forum up and their members will just look to an already existing forum to join.

Although I still recommend people use a self hosted free software (like MyBB or phpbb) on a free web host (if they dont want to spend any money).
