I voted for

There's a conservative bias.

and

There's a liberal bias.

If you watch channels like Fox News, then you will get conservative news.

Others like NBC will probably give you liberal news.

Each channel does not like to report stories that make their side look bad.

Some outlets like the Huffington Post and the New York Times do not hide the fact that they are little more than the house organ for the very liberal wing of the Democratic Party.

Some, like Sixty Minutes, at least try to appear to be somewhat more objective. Whether they are or not is still arguable.

Haha, you can't even try to compare NBC, CBS, or MSNBC to the bias of Fox. Murdoch is waging a war against journalism.

I voted sometimes/it depends. Because Fox presents an alternate reality that fits in line with the agenda of the right wing. MSNBC has opinion programming that is obviously biased toward the left (yet you won't catch them telling outright lies, practicing false video editing, omitting parts of certain stories to promote a certain view.. etc) That kind of stuff does happen on fox though. And during the mid-day MSNBC does a pretty good job of leaving out the bias and providing good straight news programming.

The only cable news show that has virtually no bias (and is my favorite) is Fareed Zakaria GPS on CNN Sundays. He doesn't have pundits or CNN contributors or CNN analysts on his shows, he bring in the people who actually know what they are talking about, and they don't just spew talking points.

The American media is pretty pathetic though.

I can give you examples of where MSNBC has lied or patched sections of video to make it's point. They do it quite often.

I was going to say the same thing. I know Rachel Maddow has mistakenly stated false information on her show, and has later apologized for unknowingly doing so.

Of course they're biased; especially Fox who I consider pro-republican.

You dont need to consider it. They are!

Ive watched a few times and Ive seen some people ranting and raving until they were red in the face and spit was flying out.. lol.. The super-conservative-types are not happy that the democrats are in control with a black leader it seems.

Will a size 8 in mens fit you? (shoes) That's about the same question. Some media is biased, others aren't.

Some men will fit into a size 8, others don't.

Majority of the time, yes. It really depends on the story as each story is different in the terms of seriousness, sex (female, male), racial background etc.

Sometimes/It Depends, and both a Liberal/Conservative bias. It depends on the network and such. However, there are many news networks that a biased - most of which have been pointed out already.

Can somebody explain Tavis Smiley to me?

And remember, he is being paid by Tax Dollars through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to be on PBS.

SMILEY: Where is the evidence for you that, for those Muslims who live in the West, that we need to challenge them, we need to convert them, we need to change them? If what we're afraid of is jihad, all of that, at least until this present time, all of that attack, that terrorist activity, has come inside of this country from persons connected to that faith.

I guess I'm trying to understand where the evidence is that suggests that all of us who happen to be Christians or enlightened in some other way need to take on Muslims here in the West.

ALI: Okay, I think first and foremost what we have to acknowledge is we're not going to get a monster with horns, blue in the face, looking like a dragon called jihad coming in and terrorizing us. The people who are engaged in terrorist activities look like you and me. They look like everybody else here.

Major Nidal Hasan, the military guy who in November shot 13 of his colleagues and injured 32, he's going to be on trial pretty soon, I think this week, the young man, Faisal Shahzad, in Times Square who tried to blow innocent people that he doesn't know up, these guys are acting on conviction. Somehow, the idea got into their minds that to kill other people is a great thing to do and that they would be rewarded in the hereafter.

SMILEY: But Christians do that every single day in this country.

ALI: Do they blow people up (unintelligible)?

SMILEY: Yes. Oh, Christians, every day, people walk into post offices, they walk into schools, that's what Columbine is - I could do this all day long. There are so many more examples of Christians - and I happen to be a Christian. That's back to this notion of your idealizing Christianity in my mind, to my read. There are so many more examples, Ayaan, of Christians who do that than you could ever give me examples of Muslims who have done that inside this country, where you live and work.

....

SMILEY: I hear that point and I accept it. The only point I'm making is there are folk in the Tea Party, for example, every day who are being recently arrested for making threats against elected officials, for calling people n-word as they walk into Capitol Hill, for spitting on people. That's within the political - that's within the body politic of this country. So I accept your point and my time is up so we won't debate that.

Fox news is the only biased news network, and I am republican so I guess that may sound a little crazy but fox news is totally biased
