Why do you think certain members login to forums but never post?

They are always reading and hardly ever interacting?

What would make them want to chat more and make posts?

Sometimes I'd rather just read.
Some people just don't have much to say.
Moods.
Curiosity.
I don't know..."takes all kinds". :)

I think it's still cool to have them in the who's online list... nah really...

Sometimes I do it just because I am limited on time and want to have a look around, if you're replying that limits what you can look at in a short period of time. I'll come back and reply later when I have the time.

When I do this, it's usually because a topic just didn't catch my eye and I don't have much to say. But I like to lurk and keep up with what's going on in the community.

I sometimes just don't feel like posting
And there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing that as far as I'm concerned.

It's far more better than them posting something that's going to be off point that wouldn't contribute to the forum.

I've sent messages to them and asked. Some say they just like to read but wanted to join to support my forum.

I've had premium members who continued to pay each year and never post.

Some people just don't want to talk. I'm fine with that.

Some of them continued to send me PMs and we talked on a daily basis there. They just didn't want to post on the forum.

I can respect that but at the same time I don't get it either. :P

To each their own, whatever floats your boat. :D
