A McDonald's in Weatherford, Oklahoma, had a bad case of fallen arches after a large sign fell off the building onto two cars.

The incident happened at 5:37 p.m. when the sign fell onto two cars that were in the drive-thru. One of the drivers was trapped in the car for 15 minutes before being rescued, KFOR.com reports.

Neither car had any passengers.

Drivers in both cars were taken to Weatherford Hospital and one of the drivers was later taken to an Oklahoma City hospital, according to OKCFox.com.

However, News9.com reports that neither driver sustained any serious injuries.

A spokesman for the Weatherford Police Department said the drive-thru was open within two-and-a-half hours after the accident.

Officials are still trying to determine what caused the sign to fall off the building, but one eyewitness captured the carnage on Instagram: http://instagram.com/p/sgC6mxGbtC?utm_source=partner&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=photo

What if that was you? :fright:

Only a sign? That is pretty old school here in Egypt. Now, bridges and light poles fall out of sudden, anywhere any time.

Glad that neither driver sustained any serious injuries.

Yeah, I think I would shit my pants and never visit McDonald's again. Or rather just be very aware of any large, tall thing that could hurt me and steer clear of it. I couldn't give up McDee's sausage egg mcmuffin and hashbrowns. T_T
