Have you ever met someone from a forum?

I have once, only because she happened to live about 5 minutes from me.

I haven't but I do know of two people who joined my forum who lived in the same town and then accidentally bumped into each other at a library. Neither knew the other before they met up at my old board.

I did talk to a member last year while he was visiting Toronto from Ireland.

I've met a couple of folks from forums. I have 'off-line' relationships with a few others--we email and talk on the phone on a regular basis, but due to distances, we haven't met yet. Plan on it sometime, but who knows when that will be...
