I cried my eyes out for weeks when my mom died. That was the only time in my adult life that I ever cried. Before then I would have probably said that man crying would be a wussy, but now I have a different outlook. If you are overtaken by raw emotions and need to let them out, then let by all means let them out.

Its totally fine for men to cry. Per the fact I mentioned in another topic about friends that something happened. Well, it was quite serious per the fact I know what happened and his older brother was only 15 years old. Their father and mother was crying, and all of them were aswell.
Nothing wrong with men crying at all in my opinion. It shows you care.
When my fiance's best friend died, he cried, of course he cried! Crying is healing, it helps you deal with emotional pain, it's a release. I don't think any less of a man who cries, if anything, I think more of him.

I find it attractive when a guy is sensitive.

I think any guy who doesn't cry is a whimp.
It takes a real man to show his true emotions and cry, it doesn't make you
feminine; it shows your sensitivity wich is something everyone has.

Yes, I am completely fine with a man crying. The kind of human beings that care so little about the world that they don't cry ever in their lifetimes are people like sociopaths and murderers. I don't care to have those kinds of people in my company. People who just don't feel for other human beings at all. They're disturbed mentally and unhealthy.
Secondly, I'd like to say that crying is natural. It's just a natural response of our body when we are deeply troubled.
Also, thirdly, what makes a man, a man, is having a penis. When he cries, it doesn't shrink. And when he beats someone up, it doesn't grow. Gender is a physical thing, not an emotional thing and regardless of how you act inside, it doesn't change what you are physically or have an affect on it. When you're born, the doctor doesn't look to see if you cry in a girly way or a manly way, he looks to see if there's anything between your legs, to tell if you're a girl or a boy. So stealing someone's physical identity and replacing it with another, regardless of how they behave, is inappropriate.
Besides, it shouldn't be that scary for a woman to behave like a man or a man to behave like a woman to us. It's kind of sexist to be that terrified of behaving at all like the opposite gender. Do we look down on the other gender that much that it would be so offensive if we acted like them at all?
I'm not accusing anyone in this thread of behaving that way or believing this way. You're all okay with men crying, but I'm just stating this as my opinion, because some people are misguided out there.

They do that because they don't want to be seen as being weak in the eyes of women because men generally think women want a strong tough guy who doesn't buckle under pressure.
I think in the end it just makes them human, and without a sense of emotion such as crying then what is there to even live for?
I hardly cry because I hardly care with whats going on, but yes I know I have cried a few over movies, and other little things that were important to me at the time.

I don't have a problem with men crying. I don't like when anyone see me cry. I run and hide somewhere until I stop. The only time I remember crying in front of people without running away was when grandpa died... I was 10. I became more withdrawn after that. I'm a woman btw.
