with that said, people and the media loves to try to patriot that the cops lives are more important then american citizens... cops are public servants, they know the dangers, just like military personnel...

now, if a cop kills a citizen, it's brushed under the rug but when a cop gets shot and killed then it's a very big deal... which it is but why not everyone else that gets killed by the cops illegally? it's one sided and it's been like that for a very long time now... cops are being protected when they do wrong, there's too many cases and proof of that all over the country...

White or black, your rights are being taken away. Our laws are getting more and more constrictive. Instead of laws that reinforce moral structure in society, we have arbitrary commands given by a ruling class that expands their own power, favors the banks and corporations that got them into office, and reduces our rights.

Police have been given billions of dollars worth of military firearms, ammo, tanks, riot gear, tear gas, and armor. What are they preparing for? All I have to say is put aside the race cards, because those bullets don't discriminate.

You hear about police brutality and the police state all the time. These "men" have proven that they are willing to uphold and command given by any corrupt politician, no matter how warped, inhumane, unconstitutional, or illegal it is. So do you really think that if they are asked to kill crowds of unarmed protesters or asked to seize legally possessed firearms with force that they will refuse? No, these men care about power and their paycheck. If they actually gave a shit about what is right and what is wrong, they would not enforce 80% of the laws that they do.

NO. Militarized police and the few issues associated with it around the country every year is a separate issue and not what made thugs go out assassinate cops and try and kill other cops.

Our leadership and nothing else with there rhetoric to stir up emotions instead of calming them started this horror.

I do not ignore I just do not agree it is this huge out of control problem you make it out to be where a cop in every town and city is a out of control rogue.

No we have plenty of other presidents and leaders of the past to spread the blame. But in this particular instance of recent events letting things escalate we can very easily name a few who have caused the current issues of violence.

Stipulated, there are unfortunate issues where one or the other kills the other, or an innocent otherwise uninvolved bystander WITHOUT justification, 'self defense upon provocation'.

Resolved, "the assholes in the media" have sensationalized the entire matter to the point where the "TRUTH" is almost unrecognizable at this point.

Be It Further Resolved, for the most part, if you mind your own business, stay out of 'bad areas', and don't do anything overly stupid in public, you're going to be fine.

most of the time the cops bring it upon themselves to harass and kill when it's totally not needed...

but, there are times that there's justify killing of someone from a police officer...

cops are public servants, they are not suppose to be higher than the law...

you'd be surprised how many cops i see that break a simple law...

so if they think they're allowed to break simple laws like speeding and driving while on a cell phone, then i'm sure a lot of cops think they can get away with much worse crimes... in many cases, they do...
