Music while gaming?

Do you put your game on mute and play music while you’re playing? If so what do you usually listen to? Do you find you do better with music? I usually play Heilung while gaming it’s calming 🙂

I used to listen to Queen or The Deftones when I played. I don't much anymore.

Depends on the game, TBH. For something intense or story-driven, I usually stick with the game's soundtrack to get the full experience.

Yes, if I'm grinding for hours and the in game music is not to my liking.

Only for multiplayer games usually. I couldn't imagine Call of Duty without my own soundtrack

I usually just throw my Spotify on shuffle and let it do it's thing. Been doing it ever since Uncharted 3 where I'd use my mp3 player, lol.

I used to all the time, now I don't listen to anything at all, turn the in game music off and just let the game sound of...the game.

No. The games I usually play have epic music and I want the complete gaming experience.

When I am playing video games, I enjoy listening to music as well. Being that I tend to not use a headset unless I need to, I tend to have music playing on my Alexa and the sound coming through my TV so I can hear what I need to if I need to.

I listen to the radio when I play strategy games, otherwise I don't.

I don't tend to listen to music while gaming, but depending on what game it is, or what I am doing in the game, I will sometimes stream shows or movies while gaming.

The only game I do that with is SimCity 5. Feel like it would be distracting in any other game.
