Hey all,

Here are some pictures of my dog, she's about 2 and a half years old we think, she was a rescue dog so we're not quite sure. We think she is a cross between a labrador and a hungarian Viszla, the pound where we got her from thought she had some sausage dog in her, but we don't agree.

She looks very depressed half the time, but she's still cute.

Aww, Mike, she's adorable

How wonderful that your family gave her a nice loving home

How the heck did she get up where she is in that second picture?

Lastly, what is her name?

She's called ella

Oh, and she's on one of the outhouses at my house in france on the second picture, theres some steps up to it, it's her favourite sunbathing spot

I love her name and she's just so cute with that frown on her face

Not sure what a sausage dog is but she does look to have a lot of the Viszla breed in her. Funny how a dog will find a spot like she did to sunbathe

She's quite a character, she doesn't bark at all

And she isn't a big fan of babies either, whenever my 3 week old niece is around she has to be put in the garden, she's just so intrigued, but we can't run any risks.

That's odd that she doesn't bark but maybe she was punished for barking before your family rescued her.

I don't blame you for separating Ella from the baby as it's better to be safe then sorry. Does Ella like to play? Meaning is she more a loner or does she like it when you try to throw a ball and play with her.

No problem smooth, Glad you like her

That's an interesting theory Jazzy, Most likely true. She does like to play, but she loves to sleep as well, she has an hour long walk in the morning and an hour long walk in the late afternoon, she just sleeps inbetween. After she gets back in the evening she normally plays, she's doesn't play fetch though, she just loves being chased.

Perhaps Ella has some Basenji in her bloodline. Basenji don't bark either. If they vocalize, they yodel. No, I'm not pulling your leg; it's true!

That's very interesting actually, when she gets really excited and worked up she does kind of yodel, it's very very cute

She doesn't look like a basenji though.

Thank you for answering all my questions Mike. She's as I said before adorable and am happy she found such a loving home. Thank you so much for sharing her pictures and answering questions.

No problem Jazzy, I love talking about her

Thanks for showing an interest

And Yeah, she does have viszla ears also I think smooth, it looks as if she's crossed with so many different breeds, But she's perfect
