What is one thing that you promised yourself that you would never do/become but ended up doing it?

A person who toys with another person's feelings.

After fighting with the last girl I was seeing, I went out and got drunk. Eventually, I called another girl - one that had told me she liked me a while back after that girl and I never worked out to begin with. I turned her down then.

I wound up at her house, drinking more, and flirting with her. Fortunately, she seemed to realise I was just REAAALLY drunk, and wasn't thinking right, as well as emotionally distraught over the last person. But in hindsight, I wish I never did that to her. It wasn't fair. Especially when she was so hurt when I turned her down originally.

A smoker, but I've quit smoking now so I guess it's kind of ok. I do still regret ever starting to smoke.

Someone who tends to turn what they seem to be 'good' years into average or bad ones.
I promised I'd make 2013 better but, that didn't happen and ended like 10 years before that. I just hope this one won't turn like 2009, which was the worst overall.

Good for you that you quit smoking.

How long did you smoke before you quit?

Around 6 or 7 years, I started at a really, really young age.

How long has it been since you've quit?
