Its an Acer.

Specs:

  • Windows 7
  • 3.1 GHz Processor
  • 4 GB Ram/Memory
  • 1 TB Hard Drive (1000 gigs)
  • DVD & CD Burner

My old computer was also an Acer that I bought in 2006.

Specs:

  • Windows Vista
  • 2 GHz Processor
  • 1 GB Ram/Memory
  • 250 Gig Hard Drive
  • CD Burner

Going to clear out the hard drive on my old computer and try to sell it on craigslist

Well all my stuff was on my old computer's hard drive so I went to the store to buy a hard drive enclosure (which turns it into a external and you can connect it to any PC with its usb cable)..

Anyway I go to the store, buy the hard drive enclosure, take it home, use it to extract all the stuff off my old hard drive, then return it to the store saying Its the wrong one and got my money back.

Now my old computer is ready to be erased, reformatted, upgraded to windows 7 (my bro will do that) and sold. I'll probably be able to make back a good chunk of the money I spend on my new computer.

That made me chuckle. Glad they gave you your money back!

I was very careful in taking the stuff out of the package so I could put it back in and make it look unused.

My Dad's friend did something like this. He got some software (or something like that) that he would only need to use once. So he bought it, used it, then took it back saying it didn't work

Full refund XD

1TB = 1024GB

Not necessarily.

At some point someone decided it was wrong to use SI stuff like that and said 1024 now has an i in it (MiB, KiB... you get the idea). Lots of people simply ignore this or just don't know. If I were a manufacturer it'd seem like a nice way to save some money...

Loving my new computer!!!! I think I am going to put another 4 gigs of ram/memory in and really see what this baby can do.

My last computer performed almost as good as this one.... I could just only have 1 or 2 programs running at a time.
