Motorists are already required to carry auto insurance in Texas, the new health care bill requires that every American carry health insurance, and now there's a new mandate in the works---dog insurance.

State Rep. Ruth Jones McClendon (D-San Antonio) has introduced a bill that would require any Texan who owns a male dog which weighs 20 pounds or more and is not neutered to have an insurance policy covering injuries or damage caused by that dog when it is off the leash or out of the dog's yard, 1200 WOAI's Michael Board reports.

Unrestrained un-neutered male dogs over 20 pounds have a higher tendency toward aggression, McClendon said.

Amusing that they are trying to say this is somehow because of the Health Care bill.

It's a relief to know that female dogs and neutered male dogs don't attack people or cause any damage!

This past November, the socialists got a taste of how America feels about their shove-it-down-your-throat politics. I don't see this forced healthcare scam coming to fruition. I think it will better serve as a history lesson of what not to do to Americans and the land of the free. Wait and see!

If you call passed by a majority shove-it-down-your-throat politics... then you should be angry whenever anything passes right?

And the bill was socialist.... how?

So what should we not do to Americans in the land of the free? Make is so they can get healthcare even if they have a pre-existing condition? OH THATS SO CRUEL.

Closing the loophole in Medicare Part D making prescription drugs cheaper for seniors? HOW CRUEL.

Making it so that children can stay on their parents health insurance plans until 26, giving them a time to find a job outside of college/trades school. HOW CRUEL.

Give much needed relief to small businesses helping them to afford offering health insurance to their employees... HOW CRUEL.

Limits out of pocket costs so Americans can have peace of mind and not have to worry about going bankrupt for getting sick. HOW CRUEL.

Expands Medicaid to millions of low income Americans. HOW CRUEL and inhumane.

Provides sliding scale subsidies that change with the price of someones premium making health insurance affordable. HOW CRUEL.

Holds insurance companies responsible for how our health care dollars are spent. HOW EVIL Also the government now much approve any rise in premiums.

It is the opposite.

There's also a bill in Arizona being proposed that would make it legal for anyone to carry a gun at any government event, to tell the police that they are unarmed when they are actually armed as long as they forgot and legal to fire a gun as long as the person is un-aware that bullets can hurt people.

There's a bill in South Dakota in the works that would make it legal for people to kill abortion doctors.

And then there's this in Utah:

Sure, that should be legal. Just make sure to put those people somewhere safe.

What? You should be able to kill people? Intimidate people just because you don't know that bullets can hurt people?

Yes, anyone who doesn't know bullets hurt is a bit wrong in the head. Hence they should be put somewhere safe.

....the whole idiocy in the bill is how are you supposed to determine whether the person knew that or not? Its absurd!

It's actually pretty sad that it doesn't even surprise me anymore...

Uh ohh, those silly socialists. I just saw on the news this morning that they are going to spend ONE BILLION DOLLARS on the IRS to collect the forced monthly health insurance payments from the masses. woop, woop.

Again, I don't see this really happening in the long run. Nope, won't happen. Granted, I don't have a real stake in it because we have great insurance even though we haven't needed to use it. However, I feel some sense of sorrow for those who are going to be forced to buy it OR be at the mercy of the IRS collectors - fines, penalties, jail time. Oh my, forget bread and milk - better pay for health insurance and die sooner.

I hope they rise up against it on the White House lawn. I'd join them ... but I believe the socialist muslim is a one-termer, creating years and years of damage to the land of the free, the infidels.

But see, that's where you are wrong. You see, the majority of Americans have brains. Thus they can easily deduce that Obama is neither Muslim or a socialist and is furthermore head and shoulders more capable than any buffoon the Republican party produces and thus will likely earn a second term.

And you wondered out loud why I didn't reply to you ... after my first reply to you, moons ago? Slow.

No, I know perfectly well why. You don't have the ability to reason so then when faced with someone capable of using intellect you run and hide because contrary to your belief, your idiotic talking points are not facts.

It works out quite well for most European countries. I'd suggest trying to understand the system before condemning it. It seems to me that you're against health care out of some misplaced hate towards Obama (by all means, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Oh and once and for all, the democrats are in no way a socialist party. Spread the hate about them as much as you want, but at least use the right terms.

Calm down a bit, please...

I'm perfectly calm, if you want me to stop being logical and be more sensitive that's a completely different thing.
