Well, I was referring to that dingbat politician as a spokesman for his entire party.
But, if there is anybody else that routinely defends any of them.

passed a bill that no one likes because it's Illegal and the people are realizing that being forced to pay something or have to go to jail is nonsense
Temerit said:First of all, what part of the constitution makes you say that this is illegal?
Second, if it is illegal, why aren't you bitching about mandatory auto liability insurance?
Motorists are already required to carry auto insurance in Texas, the new health care bill requires that every American carry health insurance, and now there's a new mandate in the works---dog insurance.
State Rep. Ruth Jones McClendon (D-San Antonio) has introduced a bill that would require any Texan who owns a male dog which weighs 20 pounds or more and is not neutered to have an insurance policy covering injuries or damage caused by that dog when it is off the leash or out of the dog's yard, 1200 WOAI's Michael Board reports.
So, dog insurance is stupid yet making people buy health insurance or face jail is acceptable?
Temerit said:Face jail? Link me.
And yes, the two are vastly vastly different.

Violations would be a class B misdemeanor which isn't usually eligible for prison time unless there are other outstanding charges, like you beat up the cop who was trying to give you a ticket for not having your dog insurance.
So you don't buy a product and you end up in jail? How socialist!

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. ââ¬Â¢ An Illinois lawmaker says parents who have obese children should lose their state tax deduction.
It's the parents' responsibility that have obese kids, said state Sen. Shane Cultra, R-Onarga. Take the tax deduction away for parents that have obese kids.
Cultra has not introduced legislation to deny parents the $2,000 standard tax deduction, but he floated the idea Tuesday, when lawmakers took a shot at solving the state's obesity epidemic.
TUCSON, Arizona (Reuters) - A long-simmering movement by liberal stalwarts in southern Arizona to break away from the rest of the largely conservative state is at a boiling point as secession backers press to bring their longshot ambition to the forefront of Arizona politics.
A group of lawyers from the Democratic stronghold of Tucson and surrounding Pima County have launched a petition drive seeking support for a November 2012 ballot question on whether the 48th state should be divided in two.
