Yes Dems spend less than Republicans.
And yet the majority of Republicans are signing pledges that they will never raise taxes.

The failure of the supercommitte to find 1.5 trillion in cuts after the debt-ceiling debacle meant that automatic cuts to social programs and defense would go into effect. The dems are okay with this, but now the Republicans are going back on their word saying that we can't cut defense during a recession..... It's pathetic.
