So apparently there are tabulation issues nation wide due to thr machines not uploading ballots? Has anyone heard this?

I read that if this was the case that it would explain the vote deficit by millions.

I wish we had a law that allowed for an election do over given the circumstances at play here. We've had bomb threats coming from overseas, this would mean that the election was held under duress.

I was just thinking that if you can't sign a contract with a gun to your head then you shouldn't conduct an election either for the same reason.

It was widely reported that there were going to be election day fuckery.. and this is unprecedented.

Was there election day fuckery? Yeah, there were a few that I know of from following the election (here's the third of three Election 2024 threads I did over on the C2 - note: I started the first Election 2024 thread about two weeks ago)...mainly people wearing Trump gear not being allowed to enter the actual polling areas, there were two unsubstantiated bomb threats phones in from Russia at Ga. election officials, etc., but not as many as I thought there'd be ).....

This is the equivalent of a gun to your head, bomb threats, you got a knife to your throat, the person holding it has a bomb vest on and someone is trying to diffuse a nuclear bomb set to go off in 15 seconds when the person doing so has spent 10 of them playing Candy Crush and accidently locked themselves out of their phone which had the instruction for diffusing said bomb while you are trying to vote with the other election day fuckery that happened.

North Carolina's long had a history of ticket-splitting; hell, I can still remember in 1996 people voted for Jim Hunt for Governor (his 4th and final term as Governor) and then turned around and voted for Jesse Helms for Senate (his 5th and final term as Senator).. Ain't no crime to split-ticket your vote; not everyone on the ballot deserves your vote strictly because of party.

The FBI said on Thursday it was in touch with the US Justice Department and other federal authorities about the “offensive and racist messages. These actions are not normal. And we refuse to let them be normalized,” NAACP President Derrick Johnson said in a statement from the organization, which advocates for racial justice and rights for Black Americans.

High school and college students were among the recipients, the Associated Press reported.

Johnson said the messages were a reflection of Donald Trump’s presidential election victory on Tuesday.

That said though, I think the most disheartening thing I've seen today, is the fact that Americans on X seem to be getting divisive and pointing fingers at each other.. a lot of the Black Twitter accounts I've seen have done the same talking about how they look forward to the deportations, etc., and this is exactly what we DON'T need to do. But then again its likely they are bots..

I can understand the sentiment regarding sitting out a protest organized by white women, but they were on our side and we got some white men too.. and who knows maybe if they reach out to their peers, we'll get even more.. this is why we need the distraught white people out there to reach out to their peers who voted against us all and try to bring them over to our side. We should be gentle (irony is dead I know.. lol) with them because they are genuinely hurt by the fact that this country really is as racist as we said it was. We've been doing this for 400 years so we are tired, but we still have fight in us, we just don't have the strength to keep rescuing the country when y'all havent put in the work talking to your peers.. The brightside here is that we left y'all a wealth of playbooks, documentaries, media, history and literature on the subject to work off of.. and we are still here. If you have questions then ask.. I can't speak for all BIPoC but I will answer your questions and if I don't have the answer I will point you to where you can get them yourself.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I am absofuckinglutely terrified as well, I am trying to be strong and positive, but friendly fire is NOT what we need now and if more white men put their power and privilege to good use by stepping up as allies and speaking out then they will be the ones that will bring about change. 45 and his crew will have no choice but to notice you since all that they do is for white men anyway. But also look into your genealogy as well, you never know what's in there and it really is a fun hobby and the fact that the last Census saw an increase in those who identify themselves as Colored and a shift away from White is exactly what 45 tried to prevent with his question fuckery. They are scared of being a minority so it would be funny if y'all effectively made them one just on principle.

Honestly, this is just a bunch of miserable wealthy people who want to spread their misery on to everyone else, their money can't buy their own happiness, but they can use it to make us all miserable which makes them happy and this is precisely why loving, supporting and standing with each other in this time is so important.

Either way, it makes me glad that I have screenshoted my lists and then deleted them. I copied my bio off X and pasted it to the other platforms I'm on like Mastodon and Spoutible.. and I intend to follow my X follows there if they are on it.. I already put in a request for my data.. not that I have ever tweeted anything. I simply can't wait to delete my X account.. and my husband will do the same.

If my request isn't granted by Saturday, I will delete the account myself.
