Every year for the past 7 years.

For me, it was an ugly wool Christmas sweater. It was itchy to wear, too warm to wear anything underneath, ugly, and it was Christmas day! How often can I wear it. Sometimes you just have to say thanks. I know it's the thought that counts, but it doesn't seem there was much though in it.

A christmas sweater.. Why give me a chirstmas sweater ON christmas. I wouldnt be able to wear it after that day for like 11 months.

....Not that I would wear it anyways.

Worst gift was a picture frame--actually it wasn't a picture frame, but a document frame (8 1/2 x 11) there are no pictures that size..... I had asked hubby to get me picture frames because, well, I had lots of pictures that I wanted to frame..... so yeah.

I'd say the worst present I ever received was from this woman my Dad worked with. She got me these really ugly sun catchers. I usually wouldn't have minded so much, but I told her when she was giving them to me not to leave the door to my house open because my cat would run out and she was too old to run out. So she left the door open the entire time she talked to me about the gift and every time I tried to close it, she would open it again and lo and behold, my cat ran out and I had to chase her around for the next hour. All for some ugly sun catchers.

The last Christmas my ex and I were together he got me a used camera. A USED camera. Refurbished for $60. It broke the first time I used it. And then I had to return it. He didn't even do it.

Yes. I have relatives that I never see and when I do over the Christmas holiday. All they do is bring me some cheap or weird  gift that I have no use for. A good example is that I got a book on understanding how the woman body works. Which is of no use to me. I think the only useful gift I got was some shot glasses. 

Its understandable though, since we barely know each other and they're just trying to be kind. But its totally hit and miss and I am given some thing that I either end up throwing out or giving to someone else.

One year someone gave me a very ugly lime green sweater. It had fringe around the collar and cuffs. I swear, it was the ugliest sweater I have ever seen. I put it in the Goodwill Box.
