I've been lurking this place for awhile to get a feeling for the general atmosphere, and today decided to join since I like what I've seen so far.

I also wish to give XenForo a try, since my forum experience so far has been limited to vBulletin and IP.Board software, so it's another reason for me to hop in. :)

Something about me. Hmm... I... uuhh... err... eh, I suck at this. :D

Another thing. Is it okay to post in an old threads, or is there some limit in that regard? Some forums don't have any limitation, while others have a strict limit which they tend to enforce to the letter (or should I say to the number :P), and since there's nothing about it in the local rules here, I figured it's better to ask than to inadvertently do something that's forbidden. :)

Oh btw, nice collection of smilies you got here. I'm gonna have a field day with them. ;)

To answer your question: Necroposting is fine if you have something helpful or relevant to add to the thread you're replying to.

Say, my avatar image is supposed to be animated. It actually animates at the avatar editing page, but not outside of it. How come? Is that feature disabled in the Admin Control Panel? :)

Oh yes. Everyone here are so nice and friendly. I'm not really used to that. I actually grew to expect hostility, so this place is a nice change of pace. :)
