A lot of change happened in a short amount of time here lately, so really just looking to bring normalcy/consistency right now. I do plan on getting a custom style designed for this forum at some point, but I don't know when that will be.

The difference is, the newest owner of offtopix is actually good and cares about it. When CarMadMike sold FP, all of the owners after that sucked ass. Fergal was by far one of the worst. He only saw FP as a money making opportunity. FP has been dying for years, which is sad. At one point, it was by far the most active and beloved forum promoting community.

The thing is the forum world is a lot different than it was years ago.

There isn’t too many forum owners around these days, so of course a promotion forum wouldn’t have the same activity as it did compared to when a lot of forum owners were actively running forums.

There were different eras tbh.

As cpvr said, there's hardly any forum owners around anymore. So FP's (and other similar forums) activity decline is only a natural thing. If this says anything, then we must admire the true passion by keeping these kinds of forums open and relevant. If they're gone, then we'll have a much harder job getting the word out for other forums. Organic growth isn't really great when it comes to forums so we all really depend on forums like FP, word of mouth and stuff like that.

Yes, foruming has died down. However, with proper leadership, a community can continue thriving in the same way it did years ago. Look at this place, this is a prime example of that. Every owner since Mike at FP has been garbage and hasn't cared at all for the forum.

Any who, we've deviated away. I said my peace regarding FP's piss poor management.
