Most of us probably aren’t THIS curious – but Chinese companies are offering ‘death simulators’ where people die and are then cremated.

Obviously, the Chinese companies use heaters and light to create the effects, rather than actually burning people – but paying punters are loaded onto a conveyor belt and put into a furnace which is heated to 40C.

The creators describe it as an ‘authentic experience’ of being burned.

Oddly, founders Huange Weiping and Ding Rui of Shanghai explain, users are then ‘born again’ inside a giant, simulated uterus – to fit in with Chinese ideas about rebirth.

The Samadhi ride, at the Window on the World park in Shenzhen, China, features an opening stage where players try and avoid death – before they (inevitably) succumb and are cremated and then ‘reborn’.

Another company plans to launch a ‘4D’ death simulator which combines 3D cinema with special effects such as heat and light – and which again ends up inside a giant uterus.
