[font=tahoma, arial, verdana, sans-serif]Well, I mainly chose this quote, because Voltaire is high on my list of awesome. The quote holds up well, because it has two meanings within the quote - one, that common sense is not common in the sense that not many people have it; two, that common sense isn't really a sense that can be considered common, in that each person's sense of something is actually rather unique.

Yeah, your right. For example in the Middle Ages, torture methods would be used to get confessions. They would get so severe, even the innocent being tortured would admit to anything. Therefore just being constitutional was common sense, but nobody grasped it for a while..
