A little bit. I don't hate my country, but I'm not going to go and get the Southern Cross tattooed onto my arm

as sir cecil rhodes once said 'always remember that you are an englishman and have consequently won the lottery of life'

seriously tho.....i once took an oath of allegience to queen and country...still believe in it

In England there will soon be a time when It will be Illegal to have pride In your country.

We can have Muslim Day, Black Pride Day etc etc but If you want Engllish Pride Day then you are labelled as a raving facist racist.

We are encouraged to embrace all our ethnic minority cultures yet we get diddly squat In return with many Immigrants refusing point blank to even learn our language.

I have always had pride In my country but the cesspit left behind from years of open door mass Immigration leaves me ashamed at times.

Yes. I am proud to be an American.

Proud enough to be nineteen kinds of pissed off when President Obama went and disrespected the USA while overseas.

Such as....

President Obama, interview with Al Arabiya, January 27, 2009.

My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy. We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect. But if you look at the track record, as you say, America was not born as a colonial power, and that the same respect and partnership that America had with the Muslim world as recently as 20 or 30 years ago, there's no reason why we can't restore that.

We have done terrible things to the middle east and have done plenty to deserve their hatred. It is a shame that the small sect of Muslim fundamentalists and extremists that believe in sharia law and bringing death to the west is so widely accepted over there, but it is largely because of what we have done.

I don't disagree with anything Obama said in that statement.

I'm the only one who voted for: I don't care about it much.

I think it is somewhat foolish to take pride in where you were born, something you did not chose and had no control over. I see blind patriotism as a bad thing, when people are like I trust in president Bush and if he says we need to go into Iraq, then I trust his judgement -.-

In England, the majority of the electorate were against Invading Iraq and Afghan which led to Tony Blair having to 'sex up' the Iraqi weapons dossier to justify Invasion.and some-thing he Is now having to answer to as should Bush but the American people seem un-willing to hold their leaders accountable.

Patriotism Is being proud of your countries history and achievments and not following a leader.

As for the terrible things we have have done In the ME? What exactly are you refering to?

Are you saying 9/11 was revenge? If so... for what? If you look back over several centuries of how Islam has spread throughout the world,It has spread through violence and Invasion...far too much for me to write here. 9/11 would have happened any-way however no Injustices were carried out by the West until 9/11 although the aftermath was directed In the wrong area. The pilots In the planes were Saudi, not Iraqi nor Afghan but Bush could not have possibly gone to war with Saudi when Kuwait controls 28% of your oil.

Many of the problems the US has In the ME Is directly due to the US funding the Isreali military for the past 40 years costing you billions every year. I just hope Obama does not think for one minute the good ole Limeys are going to follow him Into an attack on Iran .

I am totally willing, but unfortunately I'm just a seventeen year old male and not a member of the United States Legislature.

I just hope Obama does not think for one minute the good ole Limeys are going to follow him Into an attack on Iran .

Obama is not going to preemptively strike Iran.

Wiping out the indigenous peoples of the North American continent?

Our governments here have paved the way for the Indiginous British to become the minority population In 30 to 40 years due to uncontrolled mass Immigration but that Is another thread.

Your country Is relatively new historically speaking but the British are not exactly Immune to persecution of Indiginous races when you look at our history for attempting to colonise other countries In the past under the guise of The British Empire and Queen Victoria.

Obama will not want to be seen as the Instigator of another war on foriegn soil especially after his pre-election white flag of peace to Iran. He Is In a spot where he either backs Isreal or withdraws your countries funding Into their military to appease Iran. Some-thing tells me he will handle It as badly as every-thing else he does.
