Jayglo said:It's very morally wrong in my opinion also. It is so much self-disrespect and if they are that tight (no pun intended... sorry, lame joke) on money, then it really is a sad situation.
As for legalizing it, though... Morally I would say keep it illegal. But using the logic that some of our policy-makers and Americans use (it's the person's own body and they can do what they want) I wouldn't be terribly surprised if there will be a movement to legalize it in 10 years or so. The argument will be made that it is 1) the woman/man's own body, which they can do what they want with and 2) it is a source of income that would be wrong to not allow the poor (or really anyone) to have. Maybe they are not mentally stable, or alcoholics, and can't hold a steady job - but they do have a body and there are horny richies (and not richies too) who will be willing to spend money on them.
But again, I definitely think it is the lowest of lows morally. I just wouldn't be very surprised if it is one day legalized in America.

Smooth said:It is morally wrong, yes, but in this horrid economy there are many who don't have a choice. For some women it is the only way to feed their children.
I think it is like pot; it's going to happen no matter what the government does so let's decriminalize it, let the government clear up the national debt and protect people from the spread of AIDS and other STD's. Have the person doing the prostituting get fully checked out every three months.

i can not understand why any one would do this and there is no reason for them to do it
