Kymberly Wimberly was all set to become her Arkansas schoolââ¬â¢s first black valedictorian since 1989.
But, at the last minute, McGehee High School decided Kymberly was to share her spotlight with a white ââ¬Åco-valedictorianââ¬Â who had a lower GPA.
ââ¬ÅWhen I found out I was valedictorian, I was ecstatic,ââ¬Â Kymberly, who has long dreamt of being at the top of her class, told ABC News. She says the student named co-valedictorian agreed with her that ââ¬Åif the tables were turned, there wouldnââ¬â¢t be a co-valedictorian.ââ¬Â
Kymberlyââ¬â¢s mom, Molly Bratton, who is the schoolââ¬â¢s ââ¬Åcertified media specialist,ââ¬Â says she overheard school personnel expressing concern that naming Kymberly valedictorian would cause a ââ¬Åbig mess.ââ¬Â Furthermore, when Bratton tried to protest the schoolââ¬â¢s move at a school board meeting, she was told she couldnââ¬â¢t speak because she had ââ¬Åfilled out the wrong formââ¬Â and would have to wait until after graduation to appeal.
Kymberly and Bratton have filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the school, seeking punitive damages and a revision of the school records naming Kymberly the sole valedictorian.

I've said that I hate whenever I turn on the news and see somebody saying that they were mistreated strictly because they're black and then whenever you read the case, the justification existed. But that's not one of these story, instead it's a school of racist bastards bastarding it up with their racism and I hope the school loses this case strictly for their bastardism.
