Jaws 2 - 3/5

The Thing 1982 version -8/10 Great story line, great acting, great props, but the high pitch sounds/scare music was a bit much and was giving me a headache. To be fair I do get headaches easily. I just rate something 10 if it gives me a headache

Underwater! (1955) - 2.5 out of 5 ⭐

Two scuba divers find a shipwreck which may contain undiscovered treasure, however, their attempt to salvage it is threatened by scavengers.

The Duel (2024) - 5 out of 5 ⭐

Modern problems. Historic solutions.
When Woody finds out his best friend has been sleeping with his girlfriend, he challenges him to a duel, taking their friend group across the border to a mysterious and stunning estate.

Beetlejuice 10/10

I'm still watching lol. I've waited years! I liked the books
I never read the books or knew it even existed, so I can’t compare.
I was going to give it a lower score, but I gave it a 5 because the story was good, they just didn’t do it well.
Everything felt rushed, and for a movie, there wasn’t much of an intro or build-up. It would have worked better as a series or with more effort in the movie.
You’ll probably know more about it once you finish watching, since you’ve read the books.:)

The books[Uglies, Pretties, Specials and Extras] came out like a decade or so ago. They were decent sized.
