Do you have difficulty saying “no”? Are you always trying to be nice to others at the expense of yourself?

I honestly say no too often. Sometimes I miss out on something good because of it.

I don't say no that often, but I don't not say no to be nice to other's if I don't want to do what they want me to do.

*has the nagging feeling there's already a topic on this somewhere.*

Oh well.

I can say no. Can even do it without ever saying no

I have a huge problem saying no. I feel like I am letting people down if I say no. I even lie and say i cant because i am doing something rather than saying no i dont want to do it. :-/

Sometimes it hard and when saying no you can miss out on things which is really annoying, but I say no when I want to.

Coming from an Irish, Catholic family, I've been brought up with a lot of guilt factors

But, I'm slowly overcoming them as I grow older.

I've been through a lot of tumultuous times saying yes when I really meant no. But, alas, how could I say no and hurt another's feelings. That's changed now since I developed such awful stress, tummy aches and ulcers.

I finally realized that I only capable of so much stress and now know my limitations. I say no very easily now.

I used to say yes to many things. But a lot of people mistake kindness for weakness and like to walk all over the "nice guy". So as of a result, now I say no to a lot of things.

I still have a problem saying no to a lot of times and when i do i feel bad after
I need to learn to say NO more often

Depends. I don't have a problem saying no, but there's a line I'll draw eventually.
