Do you ever ship packages somewhere far away? Is it expensive? Ever had troubles shipping stuff? Getting lost, damaged, etc?

I recently bought a phone through my cell phone carriers website. It turned out to be less than what I expected so I had to ship it back to get a refund. The UPS store charged me $17 to ship a box that weighs a little over a pound. Seems like a rip-off if you ask me. :|

I have. It's not the possible troubles with shipping it off that worry me, however. It's how the postal service treats my packages.

I think you should worry more about the employees at your local Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc...
I used to work at a wal mart and the truck unloaders were always abusing the merchandise / being too rough with it. They thought it was funny.
