Sleeping with prostitutes in GTA 5 just got more intense – and controversial – thanks to the new first person mode.

Grand Theft Auto 5 has just got even more immersive, which therefore means it’s even more offensive.

In a game where you can murder people in many ways, including shooting them, stabbing them and running them over, it takes a lot to offend further.

But that’s what GTA 5 has done with its switch to first person for next generation consoles, which puts you in the action like never before.

A user uploaded a video from the newly released version of the game, available on PS4 and Xbox One, which showed his character getting ‘serviced’ by a prostitute before beating her up and then running her over.

‘This is just wrong! I have a five-year-old, this is not what I want him to see, not cool,’ wrote YouTube user Aretusa.

But not everyone agreed, with some arguing rightly a five-year-old shouldn’t be playing the game because it had an 18 certificate.

Others were afraid the combination of the new first person view and a Virtual Reality headset, which could be widely available in a few years, could make the game even more realistic.

It seems the age old debate of computer games influencing people in a negative way will rumble on.

Has GTA just crossed the line - again?

Don't let him see it..? Play after he goes to bed? GTA isn't a kids game. Is it offensive? Probably. But idiots like this need to get one thing clear in their minds. It's not REAL.

Maybe
just GTA
this is nothing new
like hot coffee accident of old san andreas

Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure a game with routine car-jackings and bashing people on the streets isn't one I'd want my five year old playing.
