We have the default PHPBB3 smileys on Chatting Time. I know there's more than one pak in the ACP that you can install, and there was one pak I'm thinking of adding in addition to the default ones already on there. I'm going to have to think on that one though. But we use the default one for now. My favorite is this smilely:

I also like that one with the drinks and the two emoticons are toasting each other like you and other users use in holiday posts or special occasion posts.

I have lots of smileys, like this place. I like there to be too many that you can't possibly ever use each one. That way, its harder for people to moan

I have been on forums that have loads of smileys to choose from, but that really can be confusing at times. One or two paks is okay, but really, I feel it's kind of overdoing it to install, say 1000 paks.

I just use the defaults and random ones I find on the net. There are also a few that were made custom for us that represent a few of the members such as myself.

Well, whatever they're called. I'm still learning all of this, even if it has been a year and a half later lol. I know that now days some hosts are offering more than one option for smilies. And I know there's a name for it, but pak was the first thing that came to my mind because it seems like that's what everyone else calls them.

We used to have devil smilies off click-smilies.com (think that was it) Always looked pretty cool. Not uploaded them again since we upgraded SMF.

I don't think I've ever gone that route either. I've just used whatever the host gives us to use. As long as no one complains, it's all good.

I wouldn't have either lol. I thought that was like a love smiley or something because the sunglasses are shaped like hearts... I don't know lol.

I always make my own smilies. I always have to use gifs though since I useFree Online Image Editor which only allows gifs to add transparency.

The smileys on my suikocross and winds of fate are very mixed. But on my K~Chat advertising I added a bunch of Onion smileys as the main smileys.
