I was waiting to pay for my gasoline this morning and the man in front of me asked for a pack of cigarettes. I heard the cashier tell him "That will be $10.50."

I, personally, don't smoke.

I only smoke if I go out to a pub or gig, Generally have 1 or 2 and then keep the pack for another time, I could have 1 pack of 10 for months. :/

And now, seeing prices like that, I'm glad.

I do smoke a pipe, but I buy tobacco in large bags from a discount store and 'blend' my own. The bags I buy last me so long the tobacco begins to go bad and I put it in the compost before I use it all.

Once in awhile I'll smoke a cigar. And again, I get them on sale "two packs for one price" or something, and two boxes of 5 each will end up sitting around so long I'll lose the last couple because I'll forget where I put them.

I wouldn't classify myself a smoker, although I have certainly smoked over the last few years. It kinda surfaced a lot over the last few months though as I've found myself stressed. I tend to smoke a 10 pack of Malboro when I feel the need.
