Smoking in Public

Idc Idk GIF

It's a nasty habit to begin with...I'm so glad I quit smoking when I did...off subject...I don't like the smoking in public anymore.

It's never really bothered me. But since my home town mandated that people have to smoke outside and not in any public buildings within city limits, I will say that it is better for everyone. I don't really want my clothes smelling like cigarette smoke.

Disgusting, but they gotta smoke somewhere. I'm glad it's become much more strict regarding where people can smoke. I don't often get a whiff on a daily basis, which is nice, because it makes my asthma act up.

This happened a couple of weeks ago.

A lady complained about a gentleman outside smoking, and the smoke was drifting toward the building.

She started in about the nicotine in the smoke.

When she coasted to a stop I simply asked her when was the last time she'd eaten a tomato, a green pepper, or perhaps a white potato.

She had no idea what I was talking about and said she'd had some of that for lunch.

I told her there was more nicotine in her lunch than she'd get through that drifting tobacco smoke.

Of course she didn't believe it, so I told her to go do her homework about nicotine in nightshade vegetables, and then get back to me.

A few days ago I saw her come in, but all she did was glare at me and keep walking.

Smoking in public should be banned. The ones who do smoke should have enough respect to do some place else.

As long as its outside and not in my face, I don't care where they smoke.

I'm an ex-smoker. I smoked for 20 years.

I wish I had never done it. After quitting, I started smelling it when I was around others. It's one of the worst smells I've ever smelled, to be honest; I can't believe I smelled like that at one time.

I'm 100% against smoking now. I'd vote to outlaw it, personally.

It kills people. It hurts people who don't smoke. It is the cause of fires. It hooks young people.

I'm not just against doing it in public; I'm against it being a legal product.

They're $10 a pack in Illinois. I think they should raise it.

I don't like smoking in public or in private places. I just can't stand the smell, plus is bad for your health.

Personality, I have never smoked a ciggarette in my life and I have no intention of ever doing it. I am very proud with that.

Yes, i smoke but if I'm in public, i find a place away from people walking around and find an out-of-the-way corner, or side street to have a smoke so it doesn't bother anyone as i know the smell is bad, and I respect everyone around me to find my own hidey-hole haha

I hate public smokers because of my breathing issues. I start choking if I inhale the fumes. So I just hurry away from such people.
which is why i always go find a place away from the public eye :)

I don't smoke & my son is allergic to cigarette smoke. His mom used to smoke on him when he was little and he'd have episodes. She doesn't anymore after learning how bad his condition is. I abhor the smell. It just sticks to people and they smell really strong of it.
