Time to get your green on!

To celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, we are holding an avatar contest!

If you'd like to participate, your avatar must contain the color green. Your avatar doesn't necessarily have to be St. Patrick's Day related, it just needs to have green in it.
However, if you do upload an avatar that actually is related to St. Patrick's day and it doesn't contain the color green, it will be accepted and allowed to enter the contest.

The deadline to change your avatar is Thursday, March 12th. There will be a brief voting period to decide the winner.  The winner will be announced on St. Patrick’s Day,  Tuesday, March 17th.

The winner will receive the

So, what are you waiting for?!?

Instead of going for the typical imagery you would see at St Patrick's Day, I am going to go with the Irish Claddagh ring which is the symbol of friendship, love and loyalty.

Claddagh is the name of a small fishing village just near Galway city in Ireland; from where the Claddagh ring origninated.  The Celtic Claddagh ring has three main elements – a heart, which is clasped by a pair of hands which, in turn, has crown above it.
The hands signify friendship, the heart embodies love, and the crown represents loyalty.

How one wears the Celtic Claddagh ring sends a message – wearing a Claddagh ring on the right hand with the design facing outward generally means that the wearer is not involved in a promising relationship. Placement on the right hand facing inward means that one has fallen in love. Wearing the Claddagh ring on the left hand with the design facing outward is meant to convey that the wearer is engaged, while having the Claddagh ring on the left hand facing in means one is married.

Wishing you all, friendship, love and loyalty.

Last day to enter. Change your avatar and reply today if you want to participate. :)
