Is there a reason behind the colors you choose for staff?

Why are most admin's red?

Red is the colour of danger? Perhaps its to make them stick out more. Personally I like orange so thats what I have used for admins in the past. I've also used green, and red.

The secret behind the green admins on this forum is... green is my favorite color and I wanted my rank color to be green :P

Green for admins is better IMO.

Your color is because Twitter and Facebook layouts are light blue colored. You're welcome to request a change to whatever color you want though, since you're the only one in your group. ^^

Usually go blue for admins as it's my favorite color and feel the admins are the most important.

Whenever I started a forum, I always just left the ranks at default colors. The only time I tried anything different (if anything) was if I were to add new ranks to new positions/roles/whatever and play around with the colors till I find something that might be somewhat decent.

I believe Red is the default admin color on all forums because Red does signify importance, and it does stand out quite nicely. I usually go with red for admin colors, but I've also mixed it up and used blue or silver.

I don't use Staff colors, my members can change their own username color any time.
