I'm starting a fall garden and want to document it for Off Topix - so, it shall be done.

Before I even attempt to begin, I have to ask: What kind of plants should I do? Where and how do they grow best? What should I keep in mind while they're growing?

Anything that can grow in the fall is good... I want to do vegetables, flowers, and just plants, so whatever you have to suggest, please post it.

Hemlock, poison ivy, nerium oleander...

My advice is to go to your local gardening center and ask their advice as to what plants would do well in your area.

Good for you. Be sure to document it with pictures. Take a picture of the bare dirt with the seeds inside (day one) then come back every week and take another picture and just keep going. It'll be cool to watch your plants grow.

I want to create a garden but then again I am just renting this house on a month to month basis. I can leave whenever I want. I dont want to put a bunch of work into a garden and then decide I dont want to live here anymore.

Have you started your garden yet?

I still have to make the trip to Walmart's garden center and plan out where, exactly, I'll be growing all of this stuff.
