So yesterday I was at a store with a pharmacy and they were doing flu shots, free with most insurance plans. I figured... why not and did it. They asked me if I wanted a COVID vaccine and I said 'no thanks, I'll just get the regular flu shot and that'll be it.'

Are you still getting the COVID vaccines and boosters? I think I am over it at this point.

Never even got the first one.

Felt awfully experimental, and availability was always an issue.

I figured I'd let the chips fall where they may.

I only got the first 2 because at the time it was required for work and it was during the actual pandemic. Never got the boosters, never got the 3rd, 4th and 5th shots.

Yes.
At this point, its' essentially like the flu.

Got mine yesterday after Sabbath services at my local pharmacy; needed to pick up a prescription for Duloxetine and figured "why not?"

Same here, got the first two and I was done after that. Especially after reading all the scary stuff about people who had adverse reactions and whatnot.

No because of the bad reactions I had after them. Especially the booster.

Similar thing here with me, except I only got the first one because it was required for certain things, like travelling, going to the gym, public events, etc. I'm not going to lie. My main motivation for getting the vaccine was so that I could go see The Matrix: Resurrections in theatre.

By the time I was due for a booster most of the vaccination requirements had been dropped so I haven't bothered with any since.

Got mine a week ago. The day after hurt like someone punched me in the shoulder.

Yeah the vaccine has different effects. I was fine for both of mine.

That was my chief reason not to bother. There were scary stories about side effects making the rounds constantly.

Nah, I had the first vaccine and one booster but that was enough for me. At least for now. I very rarely get flu shots too though.

Haven't had one since December 2021.

I'm not averse to getting it, but it isn't something that I (or really, anyone else) really sees as a priority at this point!

I might get both when I go into Wal-Mart to get my annual shots this Friday.

AstraZeneca I think.
