Story behind your username?

Since my first name is so common (Adam), when I tried signing up to the first forum I joined using that name it was already taken, so I was forced to think of something else. Overheard my dad talking about a medical condition my nan had called "moonface" (didn't realize at the time what he was specifically talking about and just overheard this term) and with nothing better in mind, I just went with that in a moment of "whatever, it'll do". I never disliked the name and never had a problem of it being taken on any other forums I joined, so I never felt a need to try changing it and feel it's also a good way for anyone from years ago to potentially recognize me as someone they saw on a forum we might have both been on at some point.
I thought I remembered that handle, Megan...

I used to go by Dark Angel, but my Mom said that it sounded morbid.. she suggested that I put something more positive like Beautiful or Sexy (she was thinking it was a self-esteem issue) but I told her that made me sound cocky and like I was looking for attention, so I opted for Black Angel because it is what I am, and while she brought up the fact that I am also mixed, I told her that while that was true, Black was the culture I was born and raised in, and I wasn't trying to exceed the username character limit by listing all of my heritages.. and so, I stuck with "Black Angel" as my main username online.
I say In My Opinion a lot so I decided it would be a perfect username.
When I was signing up for my first forum back in the day, I wanted something unique and that reflected my personality. I decided to embrace my weirdness and went with freakofnature. Most forums I've been on shorten it to FoN, which I prefer to Freaky. I've stuck with it ever since.

From about 12 to about 25, I was fairly active in tabletop roleplaying games (RPGs) starting with good old Dungeons & Dragons. In fact, at the time I started, there weren't many on the market and even D&D had only been out for 3 or 4 years. One of my longest running characters was an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons cleric (priest) named Mendalla Justric (no, I don't recall how I came up with that). Many years later, looking for a name to use as my online handle, I landed on Mendalla. There's one site where I use a different name since I didn't want that very NSFW site easily associated with my other online identities.

In every forum, I use a different username. When I first joined this forum from another board that many people are familiar with, I used the same name here. I kept that name on a few other forums I registered for around the same time, mostly because I was too lazy to come up with new ones. Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d stick around on forums for long, so I didn't put much thought into it.
When I registered on that other forum, I used my real name in a hurry because I couldn't think of anything else, so when I came here, I still had that name (as I mentioned before).
But then I decided to change it, since I usually prefer different names on each board. I quickly thought of a new username not that it really suits me, but it seemed okay. It all happened in less than five minutes, so there's not much of a story
Just me keeping up with my tradition of having different usernames on every board.

I've had like 3 or 4 names before this one. Honestly, the only reason I changed them was due to unfortunate situations that happened where I needed to abandon my old identity and get a new one so I wasn't associated with my old name. My current name is from Raymond Reddington on The Blacklist. I love that show, I love Reddington, and I love James Spader.
