Take a Class Online?

Have you ever taken a class exclusively via computer? If so, how does it compare to being in a classroom? Would you consider online instruction for earning a degree?

If never taken a class on the computer, I'd probably get distracted to easily and wouldn't get things done. (I get distracted enough at school..as it is)

I've done a couple.

It was interesting, and you must be disciplined in order to not let the distractions of not being in the classroom keep you from doing the work.

I like it for easier courses. That way I can finish them faster than when I'd be in class for full days.

I did one. I agree with DrLeftover. You cannot let yourself get distracted just because you are not in a classroom.

Getting distracted is always an option, even in a classroom!

I have done and am still taking online college classes. I agree with both DrLeftover and Jazzy. You can't let yourself get distracted by anything whatsoever. Just because you are not in the classroom doesn't give you a excuse to slack off and think you'll pass with flying colors. You have to really apply yourself to get through those online courses. No one else will do it for you. You have to be the one to motivate yourself to get each and every task done.
