Taking it personally

It seems like when people are punished for breaking the rules they take it personally and they get very angry and try to get revenge on the forum.. Have you seen this? Do you do this? Do you accept it if you were genuinely breaking the rules?



Of course Im talking about AFTER getting one or more courteous reminders of the rules as I dont agree with staff members warning/infracting/banning right off the bat on minor offenses.

Seen it, time and time again. Banned someone for it this afternoon as well.

I've seen it, but I do my absolute best to make sure I'm never one of the people doing it. In some cases I've actually thanked the party in question for their diligence in enforcing the rules.

Ive seen it too. They arent really getting revenge if they were really in the wrong.. They are just coming back to do even more wrong beyond the wrong they've already done. I'm sure they see it differently in their own eyes though.

As for taking it personally, that's just stupid... unless you're right I guess.

Those people are too immature to be on forums, but yeah I've seen it happen. Back in the days on invisionfree quite a few boards were cracked because of it.
