Smart phones have become a key ingredient at many meals. But a new game called The Phone Stack is trying to get people to put down those phones.

The game is the ultimate test when it comes to cell phone etiquette while you're dining out with people.

Here's how it works: Whether you're out with friends or family, everyone places their order at the table. They then put their cell phones in the center of the table face down, you can stack the phones if you like.

If any of the phones beep or buzz during the meal and someone can't resist picking up the phone, that person then has to pay for everyone's meal! If no one caves, the bill is split evenly.

Questions: Have you ever heard of this game? Do you think you could resist picking up the phone?

When I'm with the gf, or out with the family, I always turn mine off. Seems simple enough. What's really that important, that can't wait an hour. I know there are rare examples, but I think turning it off works fine.

I've never heard of this but it could come in handy. I have friends that refuse to turn their phones off even when we got out to eat. All I need to do is put my dead cell phone on the table and dare them to play this game. Heck, I'd never have to pay for a meal again!
