Where I used to live, there were black bears. One time I was sitting at the kitchen table and heard something on the deck. I looked out and there was a huge black bear standing there looking at me. There were reports of black bears breaking into homes to find food. The bear headed right for the sliding door. It was Summer and the the only thing between me and the bear was the screen. I managed to get some pots. I just started banging the pots together as hard as I could. Finally the bear decided to leave. I was shaking so bad that I thought I was going pass out. Scared me half to death that damn bear!
