In honestly I think The Sims is one of the best free roam based General rated game on PC that you can get! :)

What does everyone else think?
What’s your favourite part of this game? :P

I've been playing The Sims 4 for about a year now. I rather enjoy it myself... my favourite part of the game is probably getting toddlers to cause chaos for the older Sims  !!!

When people die in the game they turn in to haunting ghosts, I’ve always loved that edition of the game 🫠

And that’s a funny part of the game also 😄

Yeah, so do I... although I'll probably have to get rid of them at some point, so that I don't get overwhelmed with ghosts!

Though I guess that means you lose them twice... once when they die, and once when you release their spirit.

That’s the sad part, Once you release their spirit to the afterlife that’s pretty much the end of that sim :(

Still a fun feature to have in a game like that though!

I like the Sims and have been an avid fan since the beginning, but it's gotten stale and I really want something new. Even modding the game is boring at this point.

I like that the original sims now runs in linux via lutris :P

My daughter loves the sims. I can't tell you how many times she's begged me to buy her yet another expansion pack. A $30 game quickly turns into a $300 game.

Yeah, agreed. It is boring to me anymore too and why I don't play The Sims much.

See this is why I liked the sims 3. At least the world felt alive given it was far more open world than any other version of the game.

The thing is it's all stuff I feel that they could just add to the game FOR FREE.

I liked The Sims 3 and played it a lot. I didn't care for 4 near as much with or without expansions.

yeah I just couldn't get into it as much as TS3. Plus TS3 works in linux these days and has a platinum rating on wine. This is making me want to re-install it again and try to build a town from scratch lol.

The Sims was a childhood staple of mine. One of the first games I've played. Loved building houses and having families. Now I'm doing it in real life.

Massive Sims fan here! Probably like many, I grew up playing it. I still remember playing the base game without any expansions and just being immersed, the hours would just disappear. Gradually, the collection started building with every pack... and then came along The Sims 2 to start all over again!

I currently have The Sims 4 installed but I'm honestly fed up with it as it's filled with bugs and I feel the gameplay really lacks depth and the character that made me fall in love with the game in the first place. Project Rene currently in development, so will continue to keep updated with that.

That's how I felt about Sims 4 too.
