Can't wait to get some sheepskin rugs and nice beanbags in there, hang up our drums, put the stangs in etc

The guy was here about 3 hours.

EE - A hide or fabric ceiling can protect against dripping water and reduce drafts. This ceiling, when used, typically only covers the back half of the tipi and is slanted slightly upwards to the front, draining water to the rear and allowing smoke from fire to vent out of the top of the tipi. Small sticks between the lining rope and the poles can create a gap for rainwater running down the poles to reach the ground without being caught by and dripping off the lining rope. Contemporary tipi dwellers may tie a bucket beneath the crown, or install rubber barriers on the poles and a canvas rain catcher which drains from the crown to the outside, to collect rain dripping off the crown of the poles.

We have also moved the flap pole so the hole is alot smaller. we'll open it up again when we need to.

Thanks,
We have a gardener who is supposed to come in every month, but just comes when he wants too lol. Haven't seen him for ages but is apparently supposed to come this week.
Mum does alot of gardening, tidying up and stuff, I mow the lawn. The bit behind the shed needs doing though as that is a mess.

If you and your mum are gardening and mowing the lawn, why do you have a gardener?

Because we have a disabled/paralysed person in the house and we are his carers, We can't be gardening constantly. lol

Well from the way you described your gardener, it seems like you are functioning just fine without him.

New pics of the inside - taken on Friday, did a little blessing for the summer solstice.
