Can't say I agree with you there. Season 2 & 3 were great! I'm almost done rewatching season 3 in preparation for season 4

Well yeah I agree with that, there is more drama than action in the show.

To me, a good horror/zombie show shouldn't be about the nuances and relationships of the group. Of course those are a part of it, otherwise it just ends up being a wooden slasher fest. But when you have more drama than action and general zombie fun, that's when it stops being good. I don't care about Lori fucking different guys behind Rick's back, I don't care about his kid going missing every couple of episodes. I care about good old-fashioned bullets going through heads, and about people being munched on by zombies.

Well if the show was mostly about killing zombies, people would get bored too. There would be no substance & we probably wouldn't fully appreciate the characters for who they are.

I liked the first season, something happened, but then came season 2 at that stupid farm. Man the show got boring... IMO the real problem is that I really don't care about any of the characters. They're all sooo whiny I'm eventually rooting for them to die.
