Ever have someone steal something from your yard? If so, what did they take?



I left my weed wacker on the side lawn while I came inside to eat lunch. Sure enough when I went back outside about 45 minutes later, the weed wacker is no longer there! Since my driveway is so long, I never even heard a car/truck pull in. If it wasn't a person in a vehicle, then it was someone out walking.

Damn thief!!!

Not exactly. But the police DID chase a criminal through our garden last year. It was funny to see, because our garden has a sheer 15-20 foot drop on two sides (over the walls) and the remaining side that isn't the entrance has a wall that goes up about 15 feet. So watching the guy run up our garden was amazingly funny, because I knew he was screwed lol

I once caught a couple neighbor kids (who were supposedly my kid's friends) stealing some of her toys from my backyard at an old place I used to live. I went & told their parents..

I remember when I was in high school someone my mother had this stone angel sitting on a bench in the yard....and it had little lights shining on it..well... Someone began taking the rocks out from underneath the circle it was sitting on that separated it from the grass...



I kept telling her no and that she was crazy..Well one day we come home and ALL the rocks were gone...and that night we were sitting watching TV and she had just so happened to look outside and her bestfriend and neighbor was taking the light bulbs out of the lights....



So she went outside and caught her and they both died laughing...then the friend told her that by the time April Fools came around she would have completely moved the Angel and the Bench and set it up in front of her car....
