Toasted Subs

When you go to subway or Quizno's or wherever, do you ask for your sub to be toasted? Do you like them better toasted?

I hate Subway. Their breads have more HFCS and chemicals to make their breads the bread colour.



Regardless, I get it toasted, but after they add the veggies.

At Quiznos, I always get mine toasted. It just tastes better that way.



At Subway, it depends on the sub I get. Some subs, I'll toast. Others, I won't. I never actually got toasted subs until my friend & I got a footlong Big Philly Cheesesteak with cheese & green peppers on it. Best sub I ever had.

Definitely toasted. What's your favorite Subway bread type? I'd be inserested to see whether they are the same all over the world. Mine's wheat.

I don't particularly like the Subway bread, but it's an easy choice, and it's not Mickey's at least. I usually get the one with the little oats on top, I don't remember what that's called. There's a one-shop-only place close to my home that was a favourite of mine; they made the bread on premises and sliced the meat and other fillings JIT-style so you had it literally cut fresh before your eyes. Mmm...good. Now I'm hungry.
