Do you ever listen to music of different genre's or do you stick to your favorite?

Are you open to different types of music or do you hate anything that is not your normal taste?

I find myself to be very diverse with the music that I listen to, I listen to some country music, heavy metal, grunge, rock, pop, and rap, it's the band that defines itself not the genre it's confined to.

I listen to pretty much anything. I have certain preferred genres (post-hardcore, pop-punk, and melodic death metal) but I find that if a song sounds good, I'll listen to it regardless of genre or in some cases social stigma.

I'm open to most genres of music. I'm not a big fan of really heavy stuff though (post-hardcore is okay though).

Oh and country. I hate country.

Other than the really heavy stuff/country, I'll listen to about anything.

I actually listen to a lot of music. Usually I end up listening to pop most of the time, but I listen to large amounts of country, rap and rock.

I tried getting into some forms of rock back in 2007 but, didn't work out well. I'll just stick with the genres I'm more comfortable with (that are dance, electronica, psytrance and Suomisaundi)

I mostly listen to Metal - mainly because I have such a huge collection of it, there's not much time to listen to anything else. Also, I enjoy it and it makes me happy - why shouldn't I listen to it?

However, I've also started getting into Blues recently - especially Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson - and rock 'n' roll like Little Richard.

RE: Trying different genre's

I usually stay within rock, metal, and grunge. I'm not big in any other genre.
