"The book was better than the movie!" is something people always say.

What do you prefer, watching the movie or reading the book?

If you could pick one over the other, which would you pick? Watching movies or reading books?

If I had to pick one, I'd take the movie, but I love both. The books are always better than their movie counterparts, books have more story, more framing. Movies need to dramatize everything to make it into a convincing movie, and that's fine, but you also only have 2 hours to tell the story of a book, which means they often leave out key parts, which can change the meaning of the story significantly.

I always fail at reading entire books because I lose focus or have other things I attend to, but a movie takes me nowhere near as long to finish and I'm somewhat of a visual person, so I'd definitely have to go with moves over reading.

ALways the movie! I won't read the book if I am being honest.
