Well the home page looks like a landing page now, which I think works in your favor.
One thing that I don't like is the gallery slider on the homepage is controlled by the mouse scroll wheel, which is annoying to me as I scroll up and down the page. But that's personal preference.
Then there is the nav drop down. I like the direction you are going with it, but there is probably 50px of space between the menu item itself and the dropped menu. It's a little much if you ask me. So you could bring it up, or just add a subtle border(maybe a slight shadow as well?) around the drop down, just to help distinguish it from the page.
I like what you did with the American Horror Story post, where you can click the tabs to the left and switch between clips from the movie, pretty neat. Although the blog post text color seems a bit light to me, it could be my monitor brightness, it might not be. Maybe something more like #555 would be easier to read? Comment form =
On the portfolio page, maybe have a picture of yourself instead of an old screenshot of the site I'm looking at? If you're not comfortable with a picture of yourself, well... Just something else their. I'm getting a crazy inception vibe going on here(BWAAAM).
Then your resume. I'm ready to hire you just from that. My god.... The icing on the cake would be responsive, but that will come with v2 I suppose.
The contact forms could use a bit of padding, the footer doesn't match the rest of the site, the search button on the blog uses some z-indexing on hover, so it results in a little border moving, which annoys me, because I'm an asshole like that.
Mostly though I am just picking on little things, because the whole thing looks great.
